This overview looks back at the past period at NBIP and looks ahead to the near future. Among other things, it looks at the development of NBIP&#8217;s services and its ambitions for the coming years. The report also features interviews with staff and board members.<\/p><p>\u2018The past few years mark a transition for NBIP in which all services have been taken into its own hands,\u2019 says Octavia de Weerdt, NBIP&#8217;s managing director. \u2018In addition, NBIP started participating in European projects aimed at building a federated cloud infrastructure under the IPCEI-CIS banner. As a result, the organisation has grown considerably in terms of employees and responsibilities. Now that NBIP is firmly established in this new composition and set-up, we thought it was time to bring the past period to a close and already give a glimpse of what we are planning for the coming years.\u2019<\/p><p>Unlike the annual reports issued by NBIP until 2022, the NBIP Monitor has a broader scope. This approach was chosen for good reason, says De Weerdt: \u2018We think it is important for participants and other stakeholders to have a clear picture of what NBIP stands for and what our activities are. We also increasingly have a public function and it is important that both the sector and other stakeholders know what they can turn to us for and how to find us.
