The DDoS mitigation service NaWas protects participants in the digital infrastructure against DDoS attacks and provides insight into changing trends in the field of DDoS. We are happy to share this knowledge so that we can stand stronger together in the fight against DDoS attacks.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

In the third quarter of 2025, NaWas detected a total of 1,406<\/b> DDoS attacks. Measured in terms of the number of bits, the largest attack amounted to over 132.8<\/strong>\u00a0Gbps<\/b>. In terms packets per second, the largest attack was 1<\/strong>9.54 Mpps<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Application Layer (L7) DNS<\/strong> and HTTP request flood<\/strong> events were the most common attack vectors and were observed in 28% of all attacks in the third quarter of 2025. In addition, DNS Amplification remains the most impactful attack vector, accounting for 26% of the total number of attacks.<\/p>\n
