In the third quarter of 2025, NaWas detected a total of 1,406 DDoS attacks. Measured in terms of the number of bits, the largest attack amounted to over 132.8 Gbps. In terms packets per second, the largest attack was 19.54 Mpps.
Application Layer (L7) DNS and HTTP request flood events were the most common attack vectors and were observed in 28% of all attacks in the third quarter of 2025. In addition, DNS Amplification remains the most impactful attack vector, accounting for 26% of the total number of attacks.
