Project & Operations Manager

At the National Management Organization for Internet Providers (NBIP), we work together with our participants to realize a safer internet. As a center of expertise for DDoS Mitigation, Lawful Interception and Threat Intelligence Analysis, we provide support services to internet, hosting and cloud providers in the Netherlands and Europe. We provide our services from our Operations Center, where we use the latest high-quality technology to ensure the continuity of our participants.

Simultaneously managing multiple complex IT projects where your goal is always to create value and exceed customer expectations.

• You are ultimately responsible for monitoring the progress of the projects you manage and the associated project result.
• You are responsible for the management of all relevant resources during a project and report on this at multiple levels in the organisation.
• You have a prominent role in the continuous improvement of project management and all processes and roles involved

You at least have a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional and intellectual ability.

• You have demonstrable practical experience in managing IT projects.
• You have demonstrable knowledge of Prince2 and agile-based project management methods.
• You have at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the simultaneous management of multiple IT projects at medium-sized organisations and governments.
• Preferably, you have worked in small to medium-sized, agile companies.
• You bring relevant and up to date knowledge of hosting, cloud services, public cloud services, certifications and security.
• One of your strengths is overseeing multiple contexts and swiftly switching between them.
• You have excellent communicative skills that you can adapt perfectly to your interlocutor.
• Working with multiple parties energises you and in that way you also know how to make the right decisions to achieve the customer’s goal.
• In addition to a professional interest, you are also intrinsically interested in IT and new developments within this domain.

As part of our Operations team, you work together with colleagues to serve the public interest by making internet traffic safer and strive for the best possible service.

Our team comprises more than just the people at our office. The NBIP and its services are widely supported by the internet service provider and hosting community. We are in close contact with our participants and regularly organise committees of technical people who like to exchange knowledge with us.
