On 17 January 2024, NBIP, in cooperation with the Public Prosecution Service (OM), is organising the role-play Capture the Red Flags. This role-play is all about detecting, preventing or removing abuse on hosters’ infrastructure in the Netherlands. The game was developed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and is aimed at gaining a better understanding of each other’s interests, views and working methods in combating abuse.
During the game, an employee of the police, an employee of the OM and an employee of a hoster work together to solve a fictitious case. In this way, they learn to empathise with each other’s way of thinking and acting. By working together in this way, all participants gain a lot of knowledge and experience. As a result, they are better able to jointly tackle the problem of abuse in Dutch networks in a way that works for all parties.
